II’m D. Lane Barron — a photographer, creative marketer, and the founder of several growing projects that all revolve around one thing: helping artists, photographers, and makers turn what they do into something that gets found — and respected.
I didn’t go to school for this. I learned by building websites from scratch, breaking them, fixing them, and figuring out what actually works. Every tool I’ve built, every client site I’ve ranked — it all came from the same place: trial, error, and a stubborn belief that creatives deserve better visibility.
📍 What I Do
I currently run three projects that cover different sides of my work:
- The Faded Lens – My photography brand, where I shoot weddings and creative sessions across Louisiana. It also features a growing wedding blog to help couples plan with clarity, not chaos.
- Creative Photo Connect – A photography-forward hub where I publish tools, prompts, and resources for artists, creators, and photographers. It’s where creativity meets workflow, and it’s built to grow with the needs of working creatives.
- DaltonBarron.com – My digital marketing and SEO services site, where I work with other creators and small businesses to build better websites, rank in search, and create content strategies that actually convert. - Creatives deserve to be found online — not buried behind bad design or generic SEO.
- Great work should speak for itself, but a well-built site and smart structure helps it shout a little louder.
